Mercedes St. Augustine
Mercedes is a St. Augustine grass that was developed by the University of Florida breeding program in the 1980s. It has a similar appearance to Raleigh St. Augustine and features elevated cold tolerance. Like other St. Augustine varieties, it features a coarse texture and has a higher level of shade tolerance than other warm-season grass types.
